Scale modelling articles, reviews, and galleries by Ade Hill

Comment Guidelines

When and wherever commenting is available on this website, the following guidelines apply.

Name

Please provide some version of your real name or nickname, whichever you prefer. If you have a scale modelling business, I'm fine with you using that as your name.

Etiquette

Just the usual guidelines:

  • Try to keep it polite, respectful, and on topic
  • No spamming, of course
  • No abuse, trolling, libel, politics, or intolerance

Criticism

Everyone who shares their creative work on the web should accept that they may receive feedback and critiques, and it's one of the key benefits of doing so. Constructive and objective criticism of my models is welcome and appreciated.

Language support

Please write your comment in English, because not every reader has auto-translation in their web browser. I may be able to add auto-translation of comments in future, in which case that would change.

Q&A

Is swearing acceptable?

For the reasons outlined above, swearing may be edited out.

Can I share a link to my own website or product in my comment?

You certainly can, as long as it's relevant to the article's topic. If you would be interested in sending a product for an unbiased review with a link (optionally affiliated), please let me know. Comment links get the "nofollow" attribute, but review links don't.

What happens to comments which are not acceptable?

At my discretion, anonymous comments which disrespect these guidelines may be edited or not published.
