Let's take a quick look at two sets from the Vallejo Hobby Scenics range of resin diorama accessories. Do they live up to the standard of some of the other products in that range and the general good reputation of Vallejo? Sadly, not even close.

These two sets are an omnishambles! On the crates, no two sides align, the hinges are wonky, the handles are a mess, and the surfaces are damaged. The cans are hardly any better, with more damaged surfaces and even a huge hole in one corner.
How the heck they got approved for sale under the Vallejo name, I can't imagine. Of the crates I found a listing on Scalemates which showed that they were previously released under another name, so I assume that either the moulds or remaining stocks were acquired and not properly examined before being hastily rebranded.
I greatly respect Vallejo and most of its products, which are excellent quality, but these are very uncharacteristically dreadful, so they get a rating of a big fat zero, which I hope will never be repeated.
